The designs carry the rhythm of rock and roll, but are expressed with modern elegance. The spirit of the music and the discipline of dance merge to create a contemporary sophistication that balances strength and grace. The mood is magnetic, confident, and distinctive. The Designer
From Stage to Studio
Anna Lisa Osterhout grew up in upstate New York, where she trained as a classical ballerina before discovering the freedom of modern dance. For more than two decades, she performed, taught, and choreographed. Exploring movement as both discipline and storytelling.
Alongside her life on stage, she found herself drawn to costume design, fascinated by how fabric could extend emotion beyond choreography. When her dance career came to a close, she carried that language of movement into a new medium: fashion.
Today, from her studio in the historic Velvet Mill of Stonington, Connecticut, Anna Lisa creates pieces that merge structure with soul, garments that move with the body, command attention, and express individuality. Her work channels the elegance of dance and the raw edge of rock and roll, capturing the duality that defines her creative identity.
Each design is an exploration of contrast, strength and grace, fluidity and form, stillness and sound.
